Character Question ~game~
I've been chewing on ganking that character question meme Lyn posted yesterday and after some thought, I decided to do a ~variation~ on it. So here's how my game is going to work.
- I have a secret list of characters!
- You comment and ask a question - or multiple questions, that's fine too.
- For each question, I roll up a random number.
- Your question will then be answered IC by the corresponding character!
I can guarantee they won't lie, but they might not give the whole truth... ;)
How is this different?
Well, the original meme technically lets you pick a "revealed" character's number. This way, you never know who is going to answer it. :D I reserve the right to add additional characters to my list at any point, too. Muahaha.
What can I do after the character answers?
Whatever you want! Make a new thread with new questions, reply to the character's answer, jump in IC with a character of your own, et al.

- What's your favorite time of year (or time of day) (or time of life)
- Is there something you ~loathe~ doing that you do anyway? If so, why?
- Do you have a "bucket list?" A list of "better off dead?" A grocery list?
Terisk - Wardrobeless
A: Religion, this is worship of gods? Yes, there are many gods who it is better to not risk the anger. I give gifts - wrong word, I think, but they are like gifts, to those gods, and also to-- ah, you do not know her, the...
Terisk pauses and consults a small notebook.
The magic god, I think you say. She is the god of my master so I am owe her. Am owing? Whatever.
Re: Terisk - Wardrobeless
How do you deliver these gifts - tribute, maybe? - to those gods?
Re: Terisk - Wardrobeless
At home it's easy, but here... At home, I go to the church for the god. There are many small furnitures in the walls to put on tribute. I find one that is empty, I put tribute, I say the words for the god, then I go to the next church. There is a day of the month like your Sunday for the tribute.
It's hard here. There are no right churches or tribute places or priests to take care of them. I say the words and hope for the best.

Mallory - Saeland (Invisible Dragons)
A: I could write a book. Except I hate writing so I'd rather just pay someone else to write it for me. My da's about given up on me, thank Valrinor for small mercies, so the only thing he still bothers to make me do is show up at his stogy old parties. Party, pah, they don't deserve the word. Grey-haired politicians, sitting around talking boring politics, not even the interesting parts of politics. Snooore.

Ted's good for some entertaining antics, at least, when he gets his nose out of his books.
Sam(antha) - Saeland (Invisible Dragons)
A: ...Why on earth would I have a list of buckets? I'm not a bucket salesman!
As for the second one, if you're asking if there's a list of people I'd be perfectly happy to see dead, first of all that is a horribly morbid question and I should be offended that you think me capable of such murderous thoughts. Hmph. ...but really, the list of people I would rather not die would be a more manageable request.
Our cook does the grocery shopping. Mother approves the list beforehand, of course. She asks for my assistance in such household matters frequently, but I'm much too busy and she doesn't really need my help. It's another attempt to involve me in more 'productive' domestic activities.

Hm. This is surprisingly difficult. Invent something genuinely exciting, I suppose? Oh, I know! Trevess has an incredible school of mechanics, I've heard; visiting there someday would qualify. Of course, even if my family could afford it, it's much too dangerous.

(oh please please let Leo get this one ;-) :-)
Sigruko - Faepoc (so close, and yet so far)
A: There's no national government anymore, of course, and I travel too much to worry about what passes for local ones. Most of them are barely big enough to count as governments at all. There's Cloverleaf, of course, but it's Aunt Cya's city so I'm a little biased.
Mostly I pay attention to their defensive measures and the off chance they might pay me for my services.
