Out the Door
bit of a scene involving some NPCs from an RP
"Packing already?" Ava yawned, idly watching Ariel as he shoved his clothes into a suitcase - bought from the Store for just this occasion. "Graduation's not for another hour."
"Yeah, well." He shrugged. "As soon as the ceremony's over, I'm leaving."
Well, Ava hadn't really thought he'd wait on the school grounds until she graduated, but... "In a hurry, huh?" She grinned. "Where are you headed?"
"Somewhere else." Ariel shrugged again. "Doesn't really matter, I can make a nice place for myself almost anywhere."
"Well you'll have to come get me, then, or it'll take forever to find you." She stretched luxuriously, her wings arching above her head.
"Come get you?" He raised an eyebrow. "Why would I do that?"
The smile fell off her face, replaced by confusion. "What... what do you mean? We're partners."
"Partners?" He laughed. "Don't flatter yourself, sweetheart."
"But..." She sat up and stared at him. "You love me. Don't you?"
"Oh, Ava, Ava, Ava. You poor little girl." He picked up his suitcase and patted her head. "Don't tell me you fell for all that."
Ava watched her dreams - her future - crumble into dust as his words sank in. "I meant it." She would have kicked herself for letting herself sound so desperate, any other time. "I love you. I thought we were going to be together, raise my children--"
He laughed again - a real laugh, the kind you use when you find something absolutely hilarious. "Fuck, Ava, I didn't know you were so domestic. No thanks, I'll pass." He languidly waved and walked out the door. "It's been fun, sweetheart."
And he was gone.
Ava stared blankly at the door for a long time - how long, she had no idea. Finally, she curled up and started to cry.

Addergoole Year __
"You wish to start a club?"
"Yes."
"The Ex-Kept's Keeper Punching Club?"
"That's right."
"You're actually asking for official recognicion of this club?"
"Why I'm here."
"Addergoole has never done clubs. Why should we start now?"
"Well... Do you want to have any influence at all over how we go about doing this?"

I don't know for sure if Ari Kept her or not but that's still a fantastic idea.
(Ava would get to be one of the ones who gets punched! Yay!!)
