Invisible Dragons
Samantha Douglas
- Asocial - even antisocial - amateur inventor, middlish class, intelligent, cynical and often sarcastic. Has precisely one friend, Theo.
Juliana Douglas
- Samantha's younger sister and fairly normal and outgoing girl. She's much smarter than Sam gives her credit for.
Theodore Gainsfeld
- A charismatic eccentric scholar with an obsession for dragons and dragon lore. He is quite personable, on good terms with most people with a small group of odd friends who have few others.
Edward Foster
- A childhood friend of Theo's and aquaintance of Sam's. He's quiet, blonde - which is a trait carrying some negative baggage in Saeland - and intellectual.
Mallory Waters-Kingston
- A friend of Theo's from secondary school. He's a lazy younger son with very little ambition and a lot of attitude. Also a bit of a dandy.
Wardrobeless

- Shy college student who likes to read fantasy novels and has few friends.
Terisk
- A magician's apprentice from another universe that accidentally fell through a portal onto the roof of Amy's university's library.

"Fantasia"
- Specializes in illusion magic. Missions are all timed carefully to coincide with the soundtrack she puts together for it, as it dictates what kind of things she can do when. Quiet, softspoken.
"Ninja"
- Uses electrical power to improve his physical ability. What comments he does make are usually curt or sardonic.
"Iris"
- Gung-ho barrier specialist who draws her power from colors - the brighter, the better.
